www.blueridgehealth.org - Deborah Denton, RVT with Sanger Heart & Vascular Institute leads us through a multi-point segmental blood pressure test at Blue Ridge HealthCare's Grace Hospital in Morganton, NC. This test allows technicians to find areas of block arteries without having to perform an invasive procedure. Cuffs are place at various points on the arms and legs (even toes sometimes) and blood pressures are compared between the cuffs to find suspect areas where blood might be backing up.
